It’s all about happy hounds. We offer well-being treatments and activities.
Wellbeing space for dogs
For dogs and their devoted owners: Three exciting areas to explore.
Treatment room
The treatment room is home to the Theraclean machine. Tiny bubbles go right into the hair follicles and take away any dirt and grime. Just water and air help the skin and muscles. Brilliant for dermatitis and general well-being.
Therapy room
Here we can discuss in a comfortable, and homely atmosphere what would be best for your four legged family member.
Would your dog benefit from treatments with the TheraClean machine? Or Acupuncture? Or maybe you just need more fun things to do with your best friend?
Event space
An enclosed, covered area, large enough to host a variety of events and activities.
We love dogs and their people
Anke
Growing up with animals and a love of science convinced me to become a vet.
Learning from my patients and owning my own dogs gave me the idea for the Paw Project.
My journey took me from Düsseldorf to Hanover where I studied veterinary medicine. Working abroad for a bit somehow turned into decades.
And after 20 years of co owning a busy veterinary practice I’ve decided to look for a slower life surrounded by happy hounds.
The Paw Project is a space where like minded people with different skills can meet and talk.
Hopefully the dogs enjoy their treatments, activities and feel safe to be a dog.
Sanna
Who would have thought that all those summer holidays spent at my aunt’s kennel in Kent lead me to a boarding kennel and cattery in Birmingham.
Years of working in kennels in Los Angeles and visiting numerous in Europe and Japan gave me experience and ideas for my own kennel.
Of course the learning never stops.
Our kennels has seen dogs ranging from the best show dogs to orphaned and mistreated ones brought in by the police.
It is very rewarding to nurse the abandoned hounds back to mental and physical health and keep the healthy ones in good condition.
I’m an expert in maintaining Terrier coats. Hair and skin in all dogs is my passion. Not just for looks, but because hair and skin is a mirror of their well-being.
Paul
Paul arrived from the far shores of Leicestershire and moved to Nottinghamshire for love.
Working on farms in England and in New Zealand increased his love of the countryside and animals.
With years of experience on farms and in customer service he now looks after everything at the Paw Project.
From lawns to directors, customers to plumbers and always there for support.
We look forward to seeing you!
